India Kawasaki Motor has introduced a new colour scheme on the Ninja 1000 sports tourer. The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 now gets the metallic matte fusion silver paint scheme and is available for the same price of Rs. 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The new colour scheme is limited to just 60 units for India. Kawasaki says there was an increased demand for more colours from customers that prompted the manufacturer to introduce the new shade. The new colour will be sold alongside the current options - candy lime green and metallic spark black.

The next generation Royal Enfield Classic is expected to get a small digital screen, updated switchgear and is likely to get some mechanical upgrades as well.

The past few days have seen heavy showers in the city of Mumbai affecting the lives of local residents. The floods also led to a number of events and activities being delayed with the latest one being the CFMoto India launch. The Chinese motorcycle maker was set to enter the Indian market on July 4, 2019, in partnership with Bangalore-based AMW Motorcycles at an event in Mumbai. Two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp reported a decline of 12.49 per cent in total volumes with 616,526 units sold in June 2019. In comparison, the manufacturer sold 704,562 units in June 2018. That said, it is the second consecutive month this fiscal that world's largest two-wheeler maker has sold over six lakh units in monthly sales this fiscal. The company continues to register a decline in volumes, not too different from the overall market sentiment in terms of sales.

It is yet another month of disappointing sales for Royal Enfield with the manufacturer reporting a 22 per cent decline in volumes for June 2019. The Chennai-based bike maker sold a total of 58,339 units last month, as opposed to 74,477 units that were sold during the same month last year. With the overall negative buying sentiment across the auto industry, Royal Enfield has been posting negative growth since the start of 2019 with volumes far from favourable. The sales have also affected parent company Eicher Motors' stocks as a result.
