Actor Ram Kapoor Adds The Porsche 911 Carrera S To His Garage

One of the biggest names in Indian television, Ram Kapoor is known for being a petrolhead as much as for his acting chops and the actor has now added the new Porsche 911 Carrera S to his garage. Kapoor recently took delivery of the new two-door coupe in Mumbai finished in the Gentian Blue Metallic paint scheme. The Porsche 911 Carrera S is priced from Rs. 1.84 crore (ex-showroom) before the options kick in. It's not clear if the actor opted for any personalisation option to the cabin.

The Porche 911 Carrera S is every bit desirable with some insane performance figures to its credit. The model is sold as a Coupe, Cabriolet and the Targa in India. It's the former that has been opted by the actor. Power on the 911 Carrera S comes from the 3.0-litre six-cylinder, rear-mounted, turbocharged engine that develops 444 bhp at 6500 rpm and 530 Nm of peak torque available between 2300-5000 rpm. The motor is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. 0-100 kmph comes up in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 306 kmph. Power is sent only to the rear wheels in India, while there's all all-wheel-drive model available internationally.
The Porsche 911 Carrera S carries forward the 911 heritage with those iconic lines and complete with the large air intakes, long bonnet and headlamps mounted on the wider front wings. At the rear, the model gets the LED light strip that further adds character to the 911's appearance. The coupe also sports the new door handles completely recessed into the doors while completing the look are the 20-inch alloy wheels with the option to upgrade to 21-inch wheels.

Inside, the coupe gets a driver-oriented cabin with the Porsche Advanced Cockpit that brings a healthy mix of screens and analogue buttons. It also gets the 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with the Porsche Communication Management system. The offering also gets a number of personalisation options to choose from.
Ram Kapoor has quite the collection when it comes to cars and motorcycles. The actor also owned the older Porsche 911 Cabriolet in the past and has the Mercedes-AMG G63, BMW X5, and more. His motorcycle collection includes the hot BMW R 18, Indian Roadmaster Dark Horse, BMW K 1600 B, among others.
