Skoda Kodiaq RS

Introduction

• The Skoda Kodiaq RS will make it to the Indian shores by May 15.
• Skoda had confirmed that this performance version of the Kodiaq will be launched in India by June 2026.
• So, we can expect customers to get their confirmed deliveries by then.
• It will be imported in limited numbers through the CBU route.

• As mentioned earlier, the Kodiaq RS is the sportier version of the SUV.
• The cosmetic changes include an aggressive fascia featuring a black grille and sportier bumper.
• Other cosmetic changes include black ORVMs and roof rails.
• What's more, the RS will ride on a unique set of 20-inch alloy wheels.
• Needless to say, the Kodiaq RS also gets other upgrades over the standard model.
• The latter include adaptive dampers and beefier brakes, which will be confirmed in May.

• The Kodiaq RS will be based on the standard Kodiaq but with more RS-specific changes.
• Its cabin will boast an all-black interior with red accents.
• There's a 13-inch central touchscreen taking centre stage and might have changes limited to a different UI.
• Otherwise, it will continue to get a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.

Powertrain of the Skoda Kodiaq RS

• The Skoda Kodiaq RS uses the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that powers the Octavia RS.
• This mill churns out 261bhp and 400Nm of torque.
• It comes mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
• Also, standard is an all-wheel drive system.
• Skoda claims that the SUV can sprint from 0-100kmph in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 231kmph.
