The youngest EV maker will make its market debut at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023.

Speaking to carandbike about future launches, Petr Solc, Brand Director - Sales and Marketing, Skoda Auto India, said that a "younger brother or sister" was in the works for the Kushaq or Slavia, hinting at a new entry-level offering for the market.

Skoda Auto wants its models to be well established in the Indian market, and it fells that that one way to ensure that would be by introducing special edition models. And the Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo will be next in line.

In a recent interaction with car&bike, Petr Šolc, Director - Sales & Marketing, Skoda Auto India said that the company has had an amazing year so far in terms of car sales, and is likely to cross the 50,000 units sales mark by year-end.

Skoda will first introduce its EVs as completely built units (CBUs) or import models and will consider their local assembly in our market eventually, after observing the market response.
