2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Unveiled With Updates

The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 may be less than a year old since it was launched in production form. And the iconic American motorcycle brand's first adventure touring motorcycle has made quite the impression across the world, in ADV circles, and the media. In India, the Pan America 1250 was launched in August 2021, and now Harley-Davidson has announced subtle tweaks to the bike, as well as a new colour option for the top-spec H-D Pan America 1250 Special. The updated Pan America 1250 is expected to be introduced in India as well, sometime by mid-2022.

The 2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Special gets a new colour option, called Fastback Blue/White Sand.
For 2022, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 Special feature improved visibility on the TFT display, which is said to make readability of the display better for riders. The Pan America 1250 also gets extended Vehicle Hill Hold Control active time from 10 seconds to 3-5 minutes. A new colour option for the Pan America 1250 Special has also been introduced, called Fastback Blue/White Sand.

There are no other mechanical changes in the H-D Pan America 1250 for 2022, except for improved visibiity on the TFT screen, and the Vehicle Hill Hold Control getting extended active time from 10 seconds to upto 5 minutes
Mechanically, there are no other changes to the Pan America 1250. The full-size adventure bike is powered by Harley-Davidson's Revolution Max engine, which is a liquid-cooled, 1,252 cc, v-twin and makes 150 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 127 Nm of peak torque at 6,750 rpm. The top-spec Pan America 1250 Special gets semi-active suspension, as well as an optional Adaptive Ride Height system. The system lowers the seat height when in a stopped position, while maintaining optimal ride height when the motorcycle is in motion.

Both the H-D Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 Special come with cornering optimised technologies, which match motorcycle performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration and braking.
