Bajaj Auto sold 2, 05,259 two-wheeler units in November 2018 in comparison to 1, 41,948 units sold in November 2017.

Indian auto giant Tata Motors had a disappointing month of November with sales dropping of 4 per cent. The company which has been witnessing strong growth through the year, sold a cumulative (CV+PV) 50,470 unit in November 2018, as against 52,464 units over the same period last year. The automaker attributed low consumer sentiments as a result of liquidity crisis in the industry, higher interest rates and rising fuel costs. The company's cumulative sales for the domestic market between April and November 2018 stood at 447,532 units, a growth of 30 per cent as compared to 344,137 units over last year.

India's largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp registered a sale of 610,252 units in November 2018. The company's sales grew marginally in the post festive period as compared to the 605,270 units sold in November 2017. Hero's growth in volumes comes despite an overall drop in numbers across the auto industry owing to the increase in insurance costs before the festive season and the overall low-key market sentiment.

Suzuki Motorcycle India registered a domestic sale of 53,058 units in November 2018, as against 42,722 units that were sold during the same period last year. The company witnessed a year-on-year growth of 24.19 per cent for last month, backed by new product launches and an updated line-up. Suzuki's cumulative sales for November 2018 stood at 56,531 units (domestic+exports), a hike of 13.86 per cent over 49,647 units that were sold during November 2017.

Honda Cars India has released its sales data for the month of November 2018, and the company has registered an overall 10.67 per cent growth last month with 13,549 units.

Mahindra today released its monthly sales numbers for November 2018, and the company has registered a total growth of 17 per cent, selling 45,101 vehicles last month, compared to 38,570 sold in November 2017.

Ford India's combined domestic wholesales and exports in November 2018 stood at 19,905 vehicles, compared to 27,019 vehicles in November 2017, registering a considerable decline of over 26 per cent.

Maruti Suzuki India today releases its sales numbers for the month of November 2018, and the carmaker has witnessed a marginal drop in total sales for the month.
