It was a weekend of crashes at the 2016 Le Mans MotoGP with as many as eight riders crashing out at the French circuit. However, the last weekend saw Movistar Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo secure his second MotoGP win (43'51.290) this year, followed by team rider Valentino Rossi in second place (+10.654). Team Suzuki's Maverick Vinales claimed the third spot (+14.177) sealing his first ever MotoGP podium finish, also Suzuki's first since 2008.
