2021 may not have been a year which had loads of cheer for the Indian auto industry. Pressure on sales, low market sentiment and production issues bore down on the two-wheeler segment. Nevertheless, in the scooter segment, 2021 was all about becoming bigger and more feature-oriented in the petrol scooter segment. It was also a year, where we finally reviewed the Chetak electric scooter from Bajaj, the only electric scooter on this list.
