Ashok Leyland launches its first passenger car in India the Stile. With a 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine which churns out 85bhp. Though the looks have been borrowed from the Nissan Evalia to a great extent, Stile has got a longer grille, restyled bumpers and prominent double-barrel headlamps. Audi, in a bid to slash prices and raise competition, launches the Audi Q3 S priced at Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Audi Q3 S gets a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 4 cylinder engine that churns out 140bhp(174 in the Quattro). Audi, with its ambitious Q3 S, is all set to take on the likes of the Merc A-Class and the BMW 1 Series.

Honda has launched the diesel variant of its most successful car, the City. The new City has a .5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine, with a 6-speed manual gearbox that generates 99bhp@3,600rpm and generates a torque of 200Nm. The inside too has undergone a complete makeover.
