SELF-DRIVING CARS
Even though self-driving cars are operating in other countries, India is yet to witness cars that run on AI. In the future, we will see cars operating on commands. The driver will just need not need to do much, except be aware and in control. MNCs like Google and Audi have already tested the technology on cars, meaning major advancements lie ahead In the future. More presence of such cars on the road will lead to lesser accidents or mishaps as well.
AR-BASED CARS
AR stands for Augmented Reality. This system takes the help of in-built display panels in the car to provide required information on dashboards. For instance, if a car behind you is coming in very fast and is about to collide with your vehicle, AR will do its job by alerting you. The system will use GPS to detect the object approaching your car and display suggestions on the dashboard.
ULTRA CLASSIC AIRBAGS
Ultra-classic airbags work towards minimizing the impact on the car itself in case of an accident. They come with friction coating which slows down the car itself when deployed thus improving the car´s overall emergency stopping power. Rumour has it that Mercedes will be incorporating these airbags very soon in all of their cars. These airbags also lift the car by a few centimetres. It will prevent the car from dipping when the driver hits the hand brakes. This will elevate the safety quotient of the vehicle.

This will help the vehicles maintain safe distance from each other and will be a huge step forward in bettering road safety. Using V-2-V communication will result in the vehicle being in a good position to track upcoming danger. It will even be able to hit the brakes on your behalf.
