Highlights

There might be a lot already on the minds of people from Volkswagen as the emission scandal has certainly put them on the back foot but that hasn't at all dampened their spirits. The company is all set to launch the 21st century Beetle in India this month and there's a special concept that awaits everyone at the Consumer Electronics Show which is scheduled for January 2016.

Volkswagen has released the first teaser image of a new concept that will be unveiled at the CES next month and from the looks of it, it could be the all-new Microbus that we've witnessed in the form of the Bulli concept which made its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Of course we don't know much about the concept yet, but the teaser image shows LED headlamps, an LED-infused grille, and an illuminated VW logo. The hood of the car appears to be relatively flat and that's the only thing we can understand from this teaser image.

Volkswagen isn't saying much about this concept and is keeping all details under wraps. But the company does say that the concept will usher in a new era of affordable long-range electric vehicles. The company also said the concept will show how much cars will change in the coming years.

Beside this concept, Volkswagen will showcase display and operating concepts which will add more value to the future of mobility. The company will also highlight the benefits of connected cars and provide a concrete view of a new development that relates to infotainment systems.
