Earlier this year, Volkswagen revealed its plan to end the production of its best-selling car the Volkswagen Polo. While globally VW launched the sixth-gen Polo in 2017, India has been getting the same old fifth-gen Polo ever since it was first launched in 2010. The Polo popularised the hot-hatch segment in India, and to mark the end of its 12-year journey in the country, the carmaker has launched a last limited edition christened Volkswagen Polo Legend. Based on the top-end, performance-spec GT TSI variant, the new Polo Legend edition will be limited to just 700 units, and it's priced at Rs. 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
