VW Extends Service Support For Flood-Affected Customers In Chennai, Puducherry & Tirupati

Volkswagen India has announced extended support for its customers affected by the floods in Chennai, Puducherry and Tirupati. The German automaker is offering several special initiatives including roadside assistance (RSA), and the affected cars would be transported free of cost to the nearest VW dealer. Customers in these cities can avail of free RSA by calling on toll-free numbers - at 1800-102-1155 or 1800-419-1155. Several parts of southern India have witnessed unprecedented rainfall that resulted in a flood situation, and VW has now come forward to help its customers with support measures.

Speaking on the announcement, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, "At Volkswagen India, safety, convenience and well-being of our customers has always been a top priority for the brand. In these challenging times, it is our endeavor to offer the best possible support to the affected customers together with our dealer partners. We are monitoring the situation closely and our Road Side Assistance service is working 24X7 to ensure the maximum support and resolution is provided to the affected vehicles."

The Volkswagen RSA will be available 24x7 across the three cities at no extra charge until November 30, 2021. Any affected customer can contact VW's toll-free assistance number and get his/her vehicle towed to the nearest authorised workshop.
