MG Motor India, a fully owned subsidiary of SAIC Motor Corp. showcased its ERX5 electric SUV at the recently concluded MOVE: Global Mobility Summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a look at the ERX5, which is the re-badged version of Roewe ERX5, which was first showcased in China more than a year ago. Roewe is another automotive brand under the SAIC Motor Corp Group of China. The ERX5 electric SUV has a reported range of 425 kilometres on a single charge and the car can be charged up to 80 per cent within 45-60 minutes, thanks to a fast charging system.

The 2020 Kia Telluride is the next mega-SUV from the automaker for the North American markets and the offering has made its pre-production debut at the New York Fashion Week. Quite a unique place for an SUV to be unveiled, the new Kia Telluride SUV was the star of Brandon Maxwell's runway at NY Fashion Week this year. The bespoke Telluride draws inspiration from Maxwell's Texas-themed Spring Summer 2019 collection, with the SUV customised like it's built for the wild wild west sporting a host of off-roading goodies.

Audi has announced the US pricing for its all-new flagship coupe-SUV Q8. The new Audi Q8 will be offered in three variants - Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige priced from $67,400 to $76,500, which is around Rs. 48.59 lakh to Rs. 55.16 lakh as per current exchange rates.

Tata Motors has teased a limited edition version of the Nexon subcompact SUV. The new version is likely to be called the Tata Nexon Neon Edition and is expected to come with a generous dose of the neon green shade. The teaser video shows little barring the neon green finished ORVM and "Coming Soon" written. The Tata Nexon Neon Edition will be arriving just ahead of the festive season, which should see sales increase even further for the SUV that competes against the likes of the Ford EcoSport and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza in the segment. The Nexon currently averages about 4000 units every month and is the second most-selling offering in the Tata line-up after the Tiago.

The Jeep Compass is one of the more popular SUVs in the country and even won the 2018 NDTV CarAndBike 'Car Of The Year' award. And now with sales seeing a slight dip as compared to a few months ago and the festive season approaching, Jeep has decided to spruce up its lineup by offering some special editions and a new variant too. The Jeep Compass will soon get a limited edition 'Black Pack' which will be available exclusively on the current top spec 'Limited (O)' variant. The 'Black Pack' will essentially be a visual package with black wheels, a black roof and black ORVMs (outside rear view mirrors). The Jeep Compass Black Pack will also get an all black leather interior that aims to give the SUV a more upmarket feel.

Bookings from the soon-to-be-launched Mahindra Marazzo MPV have commenced in India at the dealership level. While, Mahindra is yet to conform whether the official booking have opened or not, many dealers are now offering the vehicle for a token of Rs. 10,000.

A prototype model of Hyundai's upcoming sub-4-metre SUV was recently spotted testing in India for the first time. Based on the Carlino concept that was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, it will be the first subcompact SUV from Hyundai India and will rival the segments top-seller Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
