Mahindra today announced some of the key features that will come with the soon-to-be-launched high-end SUV - Mahindra Alturas G4. Slated to be launched on November 24, the company says that the new Alturas G4 will come equipped with a host of significant Hi-Tech and safety features.

Earlier today we brought you news on how bookings for the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga have begun with a booking amount of Rs 11,000 at Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships across the country. And now, new detailed pictures showcasing the Maruti Suzuki seven seater MPVinside and out have surfaced. The new Ertiga will be launched in India on November 21, 2018 and is expected to have a price tag of between Rs 7-11 lakh. The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will also be available with both a petrol and a diesel engine. The petrol engine is a 1.5-litre K15 engine making 103 bhp while the diesel is a 1.3-litre DDIS 200 engine making 89 bhp. Both cars will get a 5-speed manual gearbox with the petrol also getting a 4-speed torque convertor automatic. There will be no diesel automatic Ertiga at the time of launch and no factory fitted CNG Ertiga either. The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga seven seater MPV will be launched very soon in India and according to new details, the automaker had confirmed that only the petrol version of the car will get an automatic gearbox. The automatic gearbox on the petrol 1.5-litre engine will be a conventional 4-speed torque convertor automatic and not an AMT as with some of the other Maruti Suzuki cars offered in India. The diesel on the other hand, as the title suggests, will not get an automatic gearbox or even an AMT like on the Vitara Brezza and will only be offered with a 5-speed manual option.

A close look at the profile of this prototype SUV will tell you that the model though very similar to the new Santa Fe, is considerably larger and gets a larger rear portion to accommodate the bigger third row.

The X2 is based on the UKL 2 platform and its overall silhouette is low-cost-slung, very similar to the previous generation X1.

The Mahindra Alturas G4 is the automaker's upcoming flagship SUV and bookings have now begun for the offering ahead of its launch on November 24, 2018. Dealerships across the country have started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs. 50,000, while deliveries will commence by the end of this month, soon after the launch. The 'Alturas G4' is the name of the production-spec SUV, which was internally known as the Y400, and what was largely speculated to be called the XUV700 across the internet. The Alturas G4 moniker also diverts from Mahindra's strategy to have nameplates with the name ending with an 'O'. While Mahindra is yet to reveal prices on the Alturas, an aggressive strategy is expected from the company with the SUV carrying a price tag starting at Rs. 25 lakh (ex-showroom).

DUB is one of the most sought after aftermarket outfitters in the US which has specialized in custom-made wheels.

Mahindra Alturas G4 will be the official name of the UV maker's upcoming full-size SUV, codenamed Y400. Essentially a Mahindra branded version of the SsangYong G4 Rexton, sources in the know have confirmed that the SUV will be called Alturas G4 in India.
