Just days after photos of the new Nissan Magnite rolling out of the production line leaked online, the company has now officially announced beginning the production of its upcoming subcompact SUV.

Earlier, the Cayenne E-Hybrid and the Turbo S E-Hybrid were equipped with a 14.1-kilowatt-hour battery. They now move to a bigger, 17.9-kWh battery pack.

New images of the upcoming Nissan Magnite have surfaced online revealing that the company has commenced the production of the new subcompact SUV. The SUV is being manufactured at the company's Chennai plant, and this latest development indicates that the launch is imminent.

New spy photos of the upcoming, next-gen Mahindra XUV500 have surfaced online, and this time around we get to see some of the new features the SUV will offer. The biggest attraction will be the Mercedes-Benz style, wide single unit display that will come with split screens for infotainment and instrumentation.

The Nissan Magnite is based on the Renault-Nissan's CMF-A+ platform and we are surprised to see how true it stands to the concept.
