Like the adrenaline pumping feel of movie stunts especially when there is a car involved? Here are some of the top movie stunts with cars and the fabulous vehicles used in them.

- Gone in 60 Seconds- This 1974 movie is famous for having the longest ever chase in the history of movies. This had a 40-minute car chase, still the longest in the history of cinema over the years. H B Halicki, the creator of this iconic franchise, used to drive the Mustang Eleanor original version, the sole car to have a title credit in a film. Mandrian Pace, his character in the movie, speedily races across five Californian cities in a bid to run from the police forces, damaging a whopping 93 cars along the route! Many of these cars were owned by Halicki including the $200 police cars that he purchased for this movie. The Mustang Eleanor got through this long chase in a partially damaged but drivable condition. The Redondo Beach car leap is worth watching!
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier- This 2014 movie had a long sequence where Nick Fury is attacked by Hydra. Hydra was growing within the organisation for several decades and it came for Fury whose burly SUV was well-equipped with several gadgets. This tense situation has Fury's vehicle getting through traffic congestion till the Roosevelt Bridge, aiming for the intersection to escape. It leads to the amazing stunt where the Winter Soldier aims for Fury and overturns his vehicle.
- Mad Max: Fury Road- This 2015 movie in the franchise had fantastic action scenes including the convoy of 75 vehicles moving over the sands, separating Max and Furiosa. This iconic scene takes the cake, especially for its astounding vehicles and its adrenaline pumping nature.
- The Man with the Golden Gun- The 1974 Bond movie featured the AMC Hornet that leaped in all its glory! Roger Moore played James Bond accompanied by Sheriff J.W. Pepper and they chased down Scaramanga but found themselves on the river's wrong side. This led to the 360-degree spinning jump done by the car!
- Smokey and the Bandit- This 1977 movie had an iconic Pontiac Trans Am featuring in a stunt where the character Bo Darville jumped over a bridge that had collapsed! A booster rocket was used by the movie's director Hal Needham to accomplish this awe-inspiring stunt!
