Top 10 Bestselling Cars Of 2021: Maruti Suzuki WagonR Tops The List; Nexon Enters List

- Maruti Suzuki models contributed 83 per cent to the 10 car sales list.
- Hyundai Creta took the fifth spot with over 1.25 lakh units being sold.
- Tata Nexon took the tenth spot with over 1.08 lakh units being sold.
Maruti Suzuki India has dominated PV sales once again in 2021 with as much as eight models making it to the top 10 selling list. These eight vehicles include the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Swift, Baleno, Alto 800, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Eeco and even Ertiga joining the list for the first time. Maruti Suzuki models contribute over 83 per cent of the total volumes of top 10 selling models and almost 38 per cent of the total passenger vehicle sales volumes in 2021. The other two brands making it to the top 10 sales list were Hyundai and Tata Motors. While the Hyundai Creta took the fifth sop selling 1,25,437 units, the Tata Nexon claimed the tenth position at 1,08,577 units.

The Hyundai Creta took the fifth spot in the top 10 car sales list.

The Tata Nexon took the tenth position in the top 10 car sales list.
The upgradation trend in the Indian auto market also continued in 2021 with the hatchbacks like the WagonR, Swift and Baleno claiming the top-three spots while the entry-level Alto800 took the fourth sport in the top 10 sales list.
