Belgium's oldest motorcycle brand Sarolea is making a return, after a 50-year long hiatus, with an electric cafe racer made from carbon fibre - the SP7. The Sarolea cafe racer introduced itself to the world this past Saturday and will make its racing debut at the Isle of Man TT Zero later this year.

The SP7 gets the unpainted monotube frame is made entirely from carbon fibre and gets a large battery pack and an electric motor which churns out 180bhp. All this power allows the SP7 to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds, that's almost the same time it takes to read this sentence.

Sarolea says that they will prove it at the Isle of Man TT Zero in a little over a month's time and though they'll have plenty of competition in the 2014 edition. The revival of the marque and the cafe racer look makes the SP7 that much more special.
