The Isle of Man TT was conducted for the first time in the year 1907. Spread across the Isle of Man Island, as the name suggests, a single lap of the entire route is 60.7kms long.
John McGuiness:
Starting his Isle of Man TT career in the year 1996, McGuiness has won a total of 23 TTs in his entire career, the maximum wins for any individual TT racer till date. His first TT win was in the lightweight 250cc category in 1996. John McGuiness was ruling the TT from the year 2006 to 2013, winning a total of 20 races in different categories. It was 2014 when McGuiness met with a motocross accident just a few weeks before the TT and he ended up not winning a single TT in this year and a few years to follow. John McGuiness had his last win in the year 2019 when he won the Classic TT.
Michael Dunlop:
Son of Robert Dunlop and nephew of world champion Joey Dunlop, Michael is an heir of an Isle of Man TT racing dynasty. Michael made his first TT debut in the year 2007, finishing at 25th position in the superbike TT. His first TT win was in the year 2009 in Supersport Junior TT Race 2. Participating in different categories, Michael Dunlop has won 19 TTs so far. His latest win was the 2019 Lightweight TT.
Guy Martin:
Guy Martin is one famous personality from the Isle of Man TT universe. Formerly a truck mechanic, Martin's first Isle of Man TT participation was in the year 2009 where he managed to secure top 3 positions in three of the events he participated in. Though he does not have any TT wins, Martin has secured the podium position for 17 races. He declared his retirement from Isle of Man TT in the year 2017 where he managed to finish just one of the five events he participated in.
Ian Hutchinson:
English Racer Ian Hutchinson's first Isle of Man TT event was in 2004. His first win at the Isle of Man TT was in the year 2007 in the Supersport Junior TT category. Winning a total of 16 TT events in his career so far, Hutchinson's last win was in the Superstock TT category in the year 2017.
