With the launch of the Himalayan, Royal Enfield has caught the fancy of enthusiasts who were looking for an adventure touring motorcycle on a budget. Simply put, there is no motorcycle such as the Himalayan in the market at present. The Classic 350 has been the largest selling RE motorcycle for quite some time now. In FY 2015-16, RE sold 2,76,853 units of the Classic 350, which is a growth of more than 75 per cent than FY 2014-15 where it sold 1,57,531 units. One can definitely concur that the Chennnai-based motorcycle manufacturer has its plans in place and is executing them flawlessly.
