President Barack Obama to Appear in 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee'

Speaking to the The Washington Post, Jerry Seinfeld said, "He's done some really good work as a monologist at those correspondents dinners - that's how he qualifies to be on the show."

Though Seinfeld usually takes his guests to a pre-decided cafe or restaurant, the episode with President Obama will feature the White House complex. Driving around in a 1963 Corvette Stingray, President Obama and Seinfeld engage in conversation about many things, including life in the White House.
To feature in the seventh season of the series, the episode was filmed on December 7. It will premier on December 30 at 11:30PM (ET) on the series' official website. In a statement released to The Washington Post, the President's office said, "This was an opportunity to pull back the curtain for Americans on life in the White House. The president and Jerry had a unique, candid conversation that focused largely on the lighter side of the presidency."

The 1963 Corvette Sting Ray (C2) kicked off the sport car's second generation model and was produced from 1962 to 1967. Renowned for its aerodynamic design, the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray sported a divided rear window, which was rather unusual at that time, but is now the signature feature of closed 1963 Corvette models. It was offered with a choice of four 327 V-8 engines, out of which, the most powerful was the 360hp L84 with Rochester Ramjet mechanical fuel injection.
