Highlights

When a renowned toy making company brings out a miniature version of a top automaker's product, you know it will certainly be wonderful. Recently, PLAYMOBIL - a line of toys produced by the Brandstatter Group (Germany) - launched a Porsche 911 Carrera S with detachable roof on February 13 in Germany. The little 911 Carrera S set also includes a miniature Porsche Exclusive Lounge, where the car can be refined with front apron and rear spoiler in Aerokit Cup design along with red wheels. Also, a built-in light module illuminates front and rear lights as well as the dashboard of the miniature Porsche.

The other company that will also launch Porsche cars (two racing cars and a sports car) soon is LEGO. The upcoming additions i.e. a 911 RSR, a 911 GT3 R Hybrid and a 918 Spyder will be available from March 1, 2015. Just so you know, these cars are a part of the company's new car series called the 'LEGO Speed Champions'.

The grown-ups need not lose heart, because who cares if they are 'meant' for kids. Deriving from the motto of a two-wheeler, I say, "why should kids have all the fun?"
