Next Generation Audi A7 Spy Shot
As you can see in these blurry images, the photos were taken from quite far, so as of now there isn't really much that we can comment on the new-gen model's design and styling. That said, what is very much clear to us here is that the new A7 will retain its iconic fastback design. Also, the images reveal that the car will be sporting the company's new single-frame hexagonal grille, flanked by slimmer headlights and some other subtle changes to the face. The alloy wheels are all black and so is the front grille. The new A7 is also expected to be a bit more muscular compared to the current model while maintaining its overall appearance. The car also seems to have grown a little bit in size and comes with a more imposing front end.
The upcoming Audi A7 sedan will be built on the company's latest MLB Evo platform. It is the same platform that underpins the new-gen Audi Q7 and will be used to develop the next-gen A8 sedan as well. With the new platform, the car is also expected to lose some considerable weight and offer better driving dynamics.

Next Generation Audi A7 Spied
Under the hood, the upcoming Audi A7 sedan is likely to come with similar engine options as the outgoing model, which includes a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine and a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 motor. European markets will most likely get a new diesel model with a rumoured plug-in hybrid variant coming in the near future. As for now, we expect Audi to officially unveil the car in the latter half of 2017 and yes, the model will be heading to India as well to replace the outgoing version.
