Next-Gen Renault Duster to Come With Digital Instrument Cluster

It's been close to three years now and not much has been done to change the car and though the company has introduced an AWD version, some limited edition versions, to keep it relevant, even Renault knows that it is time to bring in some change.
Considering that the compact SUV segment has seen a wave of change since 2012, with Hyundai bringing in the Creta, Maruti Suzuki the S-Cross and Tata Motors joining the bandwagon soon with a car of their own; Renault will have to take things to a different level altogether

We expect a bunch of changes to the exterior of the car, keeping it more contemporary, but the biggest change will be inside the compact SUV. Yes, we've already told you about it getting an automatic gearbox but the big news is that Renault will equip the Duster with a digital instrument cluster; similar to what we've seen on the small car - Kwid.
Now, we all know that Renault has worked extensively to keep localization content in the Kwid at 98 per cent to begin with and that is a big deal. Of course the cost of a digital instrument cluster has already been accounted for thanks to the efforts of the designers at Renault and the local suppliers. It thus makes complete sense to bring it to the Duster and expect only a marginal bump in price.
What this will do is, make the Duster a bit evolved than its current competitors and we all know how much we Indians love gadgets. We've loved it in the Honda Civic and we probably might love it on the Duster.
