Being a Maybach, the luxury saloon further improves the very good NVH performance of the new S-Class generation, which benefits the rear section, as it gets the additional absorbent foam in the rear wheel arches, while the fixed triangle windows in the C-pillars have thicker laminated glass. You also get active road noise compensation that reduces unwanted low-frequency noises using counter-phased sound waves. The Burmeister high-end 4D surround sound system also enhances the overall music experience for the passengers. Also contributing to the NVH levels is the Airmatic air suspension with continuously adjustable damping ADS+, which modifies the characteristics of the powertrain, ESP, the suspension, and the steering via the Dynamic Select. It also has a dedicated Maybach driving mode, that focuses entirely on ride comfort.
