All these figures translate to greater space on the inside, especially at the rear, as one would spend most of the time here. And to handle the comfort at the rear, Mercedes-Maybach brings in a bunch of features to enhance it even further. Here, the buyer gets standard-fit Executive seats on the left and right plus the Chauffeur package which would allow the buyer to adjust the seat surface and backrest independently. Using the footrest on the front seat and the electrically extending leg rest to lounge or even get a quick nap. The adjustment travel of the leg rest has been extended by 50mm. The neck/shoulder heating in the rear is another comfort feature.

Being a Maybach, the luxury saloon further improves the very good NVH performance of the new S-Class generation, which benefits the rear section, as it gets the additional absorbent foam in the rear wheel arches, while the fixed triangle windows in the C-pillars have thicker laminated glass. You also get active road noise compensation that reduces unwanted low-frequency noises using counter-phased sound waves. The Burmeister high-end 4D surround sound system also enhances the overall music experience for the passengers. Also contributing to the NVH levels is the Airmatic air suspension with continuously adjustable damping ADS+, which modifies the characteristics of the powertrain, ESP, the suspension, and the steering via the Dynamic Select. It also has a dedicated Maybach driving mode, that focuses entirely on ride comfort.

The best thing inside the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Limousine is the five display screens part of the new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system.

The rear doors are wider than its siblings, and the C-pillars feature a fixed quarterlight and house the Maybach brand logo. The LED headlamps receive Digital Light, which has a light module with three extremely powerful LEDs that are refracted and directed by 1.3 million micro-mirrors. The car rides on 20-inch Maybach 5-hole forged wheels that get the retro-monoblock design, while the tyres are noise-optimised.

Being a Maybach, the luxury saloon further improves the very good NVH performance of the new S-Class generation.
Power on the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Limousine comes from the new 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged engine coupled to an EQ Boost 48-volt mild-hybrid technology, that develops a combined output of 496 bhp and 700 Nm of peak torque, transferred to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. It can reach 100kmph from standstill in 4.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. The fully active E-Active Body Control suspension on a 48V basis uses a stereo camera to scan the road ahead, and smooths out undulations, providing additional protection in the event of a lateral collision.
