We told you recently about the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo and the company has now released a teaser video of this track-only beast. The Huracan Super Trofeo is all set to replace the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo and will get the same engine as its road-going cousin.

The Huracan will be powered by the 5.2-litre V10 engine which produces 600 odd bhp and will take part in the Blancpain Super Trofeo series in 2015. Gallardo Super Trofeo owners will still have the possibility to use their cars but the two types of vehicles will compete in different classes.

While the car's design remains hidden under camouflage, from what we can see, we believe that there's a much wider body kit with a huge rear wing and an aggressive diffuser. There is also a carbon fiber front splitter and on the inside features a safety roll cage.

Lamborghini has announced that the Huracan Super Trofeo will be unveiled on August 15 at The Quail in Monterey, California.
