Kia Seltos X Line: The New Definition of Badass

If there is one SUV that has managed to become one of the most popular names in India, that too in the shortest amount of time, then it has to be the Kia Seltos. The flagship SUV in Kia India's line-up, the 'Badass' Seltos brought in several segment-first features to the Indian market. Be it the bold styling, smart & connected features, or powerful engines, the Seltos ticked all the right boxes when it came to satisfying the needs of the new-age customers of India. In fact, in the last two years, the company has sold over 2 lakh Seltos SUVs in the country. As if that was not enough, Kia recently decided to up the ante, making the SUV even more Badass with the launch of the new Seltos X Line.

Kia has introduced its first-ever Made-in-India 'Xclusive Matte Graphite' colour for the Seltos X Line
Now, the Kia Seltos X Line is more than just a new variant. In fact, it's the SUV's "Badass Quotient" (BQ) cranked up to the max. Everything from its colour, its styling and its features have been specifically designed to make it bolder and more aggressive. Kia has even introduced its first-ever Made-in-India 'Xclusive Matte Graphite' colour for the Seltos X Line, which gives the SUV a dark, imposing look. Further accentuating the new colour are a host of premium features like - the matte graphite grille with Xclusive piano black outline, foglamps with more piano black accents and a matching front skid plate which adds a contrast to the front section with its sun orange accents. Of course, you also have the very premium all-LED headlamps with LED daytime running lamps.

Move towards the sides and the first thing that'll grab your attention are those massive, segment-first 18-inch Crystal-Cut Matte Graphite alloy wheels, with orange accents around the hub cap. The signature sun orange accent can be also seen on the side door garnish and the piano black rear skid plate. The classy Xclusive Piano Black treatment is also used for the ORVM, shark-fin antenna, and rear as well. And finally, at the back, you have the exclusive X Line emblem.

Step inside, and you'll see that the dark theme of the exterior has been carried over to the cabin as well. The biggest highlight, of course, is the new Indigo Pera leatherette upholstery, which gets a distinctive Honeycomb pattern and contrast white stitching, which add a premium touch to the interior. Furthermore, keeping you in comfort at all times are smart features like ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, Smart Pure air purifier with virus & bacteria protection and more.

So, you can control the music, air-con system, the sunroof and many other features by simply speaking to your Seltos X Line. Now, how cool is that?

Both the engines are extremely capable of offering strong performance, and to make things even better they both get automatic transmission as standard. The petrol version gets Kia's much-loved 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the diesel option gets the trusted 6-speed automatic torque converter unit.
