Important Tips on Sanitization of Your Car

The world came to a sudden halt after the coronavirus started spreading and causing mayhem all around the world. People realized the importance of cleanliness and sanitizing on every possible occasion. A car is an outdoor machine exposed to all kinds of microorganisms. That makes it even more important for car owners to clean all the surfaces. There are a few steps to follow when planning on sanitizing the car!

Washing with a hose
The most common thing to do is to wash the car's exterior thoroughly. That involves using high-pressure water to spray all the surfaces. After that has been done, a washing liquid can remove all the dirt. Car owners should purchase a microfiber cloth to dry out the liquid. The car shouldn't be left to dry on its outside.
Cabin cleaning
This is something that needs to be done by a professional to prevent any damage to car parts. Using major disinfectants can be a good way to go about it. The sneeze particles could be deposited inside the cabin, making it unclean. Thus, the liquid should be sprayed around the cabin and then wiped clean with a microfiber cloth to prevent damaging materials like delicate fabrics.

Recognizing points of maximum contact
This should not surprise that the points that get the maximum amount of touch are more susceptible to germs. Such surfaces can include the following:
- The door handles
- The dashboard
- The various buttons on the dashboard (AC)
- Switches for the various lights on the exterior
- The gear
- The parking or emergency brake
- The keys to the car
All these surfaces should be identified and separately cleaned for germs. The most common way to go about it is to use a standardized disinfectant and then rub the surfaces with a microfiber cloth.
Getting the AC serviced
Ever since the pandemic, people have become more cautious about the various sources of bacteria. One of the main sources could be the HVAC system. The vent could be home to various microorganisms. It would be good to get the system serviced to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.

Certain items could be taken from now on to ensure proper sanitizing.
- Tissue papers: Very helpful in cleaning out surfaces quickly
- Disinfectant sprays: They can be helpful to sanitize the surfaces.
- Hand sanitizers: To sanitize the hands after touching each of the vulnerable surfaces
- Microfiber cloth: The most appropriate material to wipe off liquid or disinfectants from surfaces.
While the pandemic has slowed down, it is certainly not over yet. So, these precautions are essential to ensure the safety of all riders.
