Hero Electric, India's leading electric two-wheeler company, is targeting 1,000 sales touchpoints mark by the end of the financial year 2021-22. According to Hero Electric, there's been a rising demand for electric two-wheelers, and the company will open 300 new sales touchpoints across the country. The electric two-wheeler segment is projected to grow by over 20 per cent in the next five years, and consumer demand is fuelled by consumer-friendly policies from the central and state governments, better infrastructure and heightened awareness.

Sohinder Gill, CEO - Hero Electric, says that a robust and well-equipped network is the key to customer satisfaction. He says network expansion is a positive growth sign for the electric vehicle segment.

Hero Electric has a range of low-speed and high-speed electric scooters at different price points for different customers and markets.

Hero Electric has announced production capacity expansion to double its sales from last year to the current fiscal year. A positive second quarter of the current fiscal year (July to September 2021) has set the tone with its over 700-strong sales and service network witnessing record footfalls across 500+ cities in India. The rising demand has led to more interest in Hero Electric with entrepreneurs and seasoned dealers planning to set up Hero Electric dealerships in some of the remotest towns of the country. According to the company, with more than 4,00,000 electric scooters on the road, Hero Electric has been able to sustain its dealers even during the pandemic.
