Hennessey Venom F5 Cabin Pictures Show Use Of Minimalistic Design

Hennessey along with Shell and Pennzoil took the wraps off the much anticipated Venom F5 at the ongoing SEMA Show in Las Vegas. However, no where were we given a glimpse of what was on the inside. Now, Hennessey has given us a glimpse into the cabin and it's covered with a combination of carbon fibre and what seems to be Alcantara. It complements the aerodynamic look of the hyper car well.

Only 24 examples of the Hennessey Venom F5 have been made
The Venom F5 is an all-new hypercar designed and built from the ground up with drag coefficient of just 0.33. Hennessey aims that the new Venom F5 will become the absolute fastest road car on earth, and for this, the company has produced the hypercar on a completely new design, chassis and carbon fibre body focused solely on the aerodynamics. The base price for the Venom F5 is $1.6 million and will be exclusive to only 24 units.

The cabin of the Venom F5 is a mix of carbon fibre and Alcantara leather
The steering wheel is a three-spoke configuration with flat upper and lower areas. There's host of controls that we can see in the picture and this includes turn signals, radio, gear selector, horn and even a red boost button. Mind you we can't see more because the picture is pretty low-res and of course Hennesey has not really divulged any more information about it. It looks sharp though and it isn't minimalistic as you might have thought it to be, considering that it has been built to go fast.
The Hennessey team is developing an all new, twin turbo V8 engine that will deliver over 1600 bhp. The Hennessey engine will be mated to a 7-Speed single clutch paddle shift transmission and delivering power down to the rear tyres. The Venom F5 will also feature an all new light weight chassis and all carbon fibre body. While acceleration from 0 to 300 kmph will be less than 10 seconds, 0-400 kmph and back to rest will be under 30 seconds. With these stats, the Venom F5 is quicker than most of the current Formula 1 race cars. Hennessey also expects the new Venom F5 to be the first road car capable of achieving more than 482 kmph.
