Ford's Latest Teaser Hints At New Performance EV Ahead Of Goodwood Festival Of Speed
Ford took to social media this morning to release a new teaser and it's rather mysterious. "Something electrifying" it says hinting that Ford is gearing up to unveil a new electric offering and it's going to be 'something sporty' as well, coming from Ford's performance division. The teaser was posted by Ford Europe where the Blue Oval will debut that electrified something at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. The short teaser reveals little of what we'll see later this month, but it does give a glimpse of the wide lighting element that appears to span across the front end.

The video also shows off a white Ford Performance-branded helmet. At the front, are the Ford logo and big, bold "PRO" branding underneath it. Ford Pro launched earlier this year in Europe for the automaker's commercial vehicle customers. In fact, Ford designed this new Pro digital service to make managing commercial fleets easier.

Ford also has plans to launch five battery electric commercial vehicles by 2024 which were teased last month. However, this new EV doesn't belong to that CV range and none of them has a lighting bar like this one, and this is likely to be a performance-oriented model. The LED light bar looks detached from the headlights that are on either side of it and is separated into three pieces, designed to look like a single conjoined element. Thankfully, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is just weeks away and on June 23 we'll get to see this new EV from Ford Performance.
