The BMW iX electric SUV will be launched in India on December 13, 2021. It is first of the three electric vehicles BMW India plans to launch over next 6 months, but deliveries for the new iX will only commence from April 2022.

BMW Group has not one but three EVs in its pipeline for the Indian market and all of them will hit our roads withing six months from now.

With the investment, Magenta plans to gain a strong foothold in the greenfield manufacturing setup for EV components including chargers, converters, motor controllers and drivetrain components.

Under the new MoU, Mahindra and Jio-bp will explore creating solutions on battery swapping technology for electric vehicles, and work on business models like Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and Battery as a Service (BaaS).

The first plant is under construction with annual capacity of 1 million units. The company will invest Rs. 2,500 crore to build the second plant in 600 acres of land.

India's second largest carmaker, Hyundai Motor will invest approximately Rs. 4000 crore to bring us 6 EVs (electric vehicles) across different segments and price points. This includes localising global E-GMP electric platform for India. First new EV in 2022.

The Muvi electric scooter is one of the products from leading Spanish automotive company Torrot.

The concept cars shown off are low-slung and even have a tachometer which means these are likely hybrid cars.
