General Motors Co is planning to start production of Chevrolet Silverado electric pickup truck late next year at its Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant, a source familiar with the U.S. automaker's plan said on Tuesday.

All EQS models have an electric powertrain (eATS) at the rear axle, while the versions with 4MATIC also have an eATS at the front axle.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Phinergy, an Israeli start-up company has recently formed a joint venture (JV) to build Aluminum-Air systems in India. Phinergy is a company that specialises in hybrid lithium-ion and aluminium-air or zinc-air battery systems and the Government of India believes that this JV will boost the country's aspirations with regards to electric mobility.
