The pre-owned car market has been growing rapidly and it's now almost double the size of the new car market. Models like the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10, Honda City, Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra XUV500 and the Toyota Innova has been some of the most in demand cars in the used car market. However, according to the votes we received at carandbike Awards for the Viewers' Choice Pre-Owned Car Of The Year, it's the Hyundai i20 that's been the favourite choice of our viewers. The Hyundai i20 has always been a well-equipped car and even the previous-gen model were equipped with features like a touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a cooled glovebox, auto climate control and front centre armrests among others.

The previous-generation Hyundai i20 was available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol was a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine that churned out 81 bhp at 6000 rpm and 115 Nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm. The diesel engine was a 1.4-litre, four-cylinder turbo unit belting out 88 bhp at 4000 rpm and 219 Nm at 1500 - 2750 rpm.
