TVS Motor Company’s domestic market sales grew by 7 per cent in October 2022, powered by motorcycle and scooter sales, as well as EV sales from the TVS iQube.

In October 2022, Hyundai Motor India's domestic sales stood at 48,001 units, while exports reached 10,005 units.

India's Ministry of Corporate Affairs started the probe after an analysis of MG Motor India's statements indicated suspicious related-party transactions, alleged tax evasion, under- and over-invoicing of bills. MG Motor India said it is providing the required records and information to the MCA.

However, compare this number to what the company achieved in September this year and you notice that sales are down by more than 14 per cent.

Tata Motors witnessed a strong demand for its EVs as well, with the company selling 4277 units overall, registering a growth of 158 per cent over the same period last year.

In October 2022, Nissan's total sales stood at 10,011 units, which includes domestic wholesales of 3061 units and export sales of 6950 units.

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker by sales, reported a growth of 19 per cent in its overall sales for October 2022.

From January to September 2022, the company had sold 19,500 units of the Kushaq and 15,400 units of the Slavia in the country.
