Auto Expo 2016: Fiat Punto Pure Launched, Priced at Rs. 4.49 Lakh

Specifications remain the same for the Fiat Punto Pure as the older model with the hatchback measuring 3987mm in length, 1687mm in width and 1495m in height. Power comes from a 1.2-litre FIRE petrol engine tuned to produce 67bhp at 6000rpm and 96Nm of torque at 2500rpm. The 1.3-litre MultiJeton diesel engine tuned for 75bhp at 4000rpm and a peak torque output of 197Nm at 1750rpm. Both units come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.4-litre petrol is given a miss completely and so is the 90hp diesel version.
The design gets no changes, which remains one of the high points of purchasing the Fiat Punto Pure. The car is available in three engine options including Exotica Red, Hip Hop Black and White. Since the Fiat Punto Pure is available in lower variants, you get black door handles and ORVMs.
In terms of safety, the Punto Pure gets ABS on the top-end version back lacks front airbags, which are pretty much standard across the range now. Furthermore, you also miss out on alloy wheels and get 14-inch steel wheels instead. The Punto Pure will be sold alongside the Punto Evo for a limited period, which depends on how long the stocks last.
