Armaan Ebrahim has become the only Indian driver to be selected in the Lamborghini Young Drivers Program 2016. The Indian is one of the thirteen drivers selected globally and will be training in the Lamborghini Squadra Corse's talent program with the help of the Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo. The drivers under the age of 27 were selected from Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo as they distinguished themselves showcasing their performance in the three continental series spread in Europe, Asia and North America.

In its third edition, the Lamborghini Young Drivers Program aims to train young drivers and accompany them on the road to becoming a motorsport professional. Speaking on his selection, Armaan Ebrahim said, "I am extremely happy to have been selected for Lamborghini Young Drivers Program 2016. This program will give me a platform to further enhance my skills as a professional race driver and I am looking forward to this experience."

The program starts with track activities, including young drivers in the technical development of the Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo. The program also includes test sessions on track; driver coaching with Lamborghini factory drivers; telemetry analysis with engineers and transfer of their feedback to technicians. The automaker states that all these skills are fundamental to the growth of a professional driver, that is, learning how to work with a precise methodology within a racing team.

Athletic practice is a key element of the Young Drivers training Program featuring several physical training sessions, medical checks and sports nutrition concepts. Furthermore, the program will provide drivers visits to Lamborghini's Sant'Agata Bolognese facility, communication and product training sessions, participation in the Lamborghini Accademia driving courses as instructors; all of which are part of the personal growth curriculum of the drivers program.
