5 Parts of Your Car You Should be Cleaning...But You Probably Aren't

- There are many parts of your car that you often overlook while cleaning
- Ensure that you clean every part to ensure optimum performance
- Fetch a higher price for a well-maintained vehicle if you ever sell
You are probably not cleaning these parts, and it's time to shed light on it. You must ensure that you clean every part of your car to keep it looking like it's brand new. You will get a much higher price if you ever decide to sell your vehicle. Let's dive in!
THE TYRES
As surprising as it may sound, people often overlook their tires when they clean their cars. The proper way to clean tyres is to use a cleaner specifically designed for your tire type. The spray will help loosen the brake dust and dirt that creeps onto the rubber and metal. Use a cleaner on your rims to make the tires shine. Wash off and rinse to make the tyres look brand new.

THE DASHBOARD
The buttons and knobs on the dashboard collect a lot of dust. It is necessary to get those clean, however tedious it might be. You can clean these in a few different ways. Firstly, use a damp rag for cleaning the larger surfaces. Then, use a toothbrush to access the hard-to-reach areas.
Next, use a flathead screwdriver to target the dirt stuck into small spaces and wedge the debris out before wiping it with a rug.

THE UNDERCARRIAGE
We cannot see the undercarriage of the car. Hence, it is easily overlooked. This area is the closest to the ground and essentially collects more dirt than any other part of your car. Use a pressure nozzle on a hose to loosen the grime and dirt.
THE ENGINE BAY
Never forget to check under the hood when you clean your car. The engine bay collects grease and dirt, which can reduce your car's performance. Use a soft-bristled brush and engine cleaner to get into the small spaces. Cover all the parts that you shouldn't get wet, like the fuse box or alternator. To dry it off, use a microfiber cloth.
THE VENTS
The vents are probably the most underlooked part of your car. This is because they are difficult to clean. You can buy an inexpensive paintbrush from a local hardware store to get into this hard-to-reach spot. Use some furniture polish on the brush and use it to clean the vents. The particles that get stuck on the vents get cleaned by the polish. Your vents will smell nice too!
