Highlights

The Hero Hunk facelift has been quietly launched by Hero MotoCorp at Rs 69,725 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the single disc brake variant. A variant with disc brakes both at front and rear is also available at Rs 72,825 (ex-showroom Delhi).

While there's been no official confirmation about the launch of the facelift, Hero MotoCorp has updated the products section of their official website with details of the new Hero Hunk. The bike is expected to be available in dealerships soon.

Overall, the facelifted Hero Hunk retains the same muscular silhouette of the existing Hero Hunk, but gets a range of new paint schemes and new body graphics. There's a new instrument console with analog tachometer, digital speedo and side stand indicator, but the biggest change is that the engine has now been tuned to deliver more power than the earlier version of the same bike.

The facelifted Hero Hunk's 150cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine now makes 15.6bhp power at 8500rpm and maximum torque of 13.5Nm at 7000rpm, up from 14.2bhp and 12.8Nm torque on the earlier version of the Hunk. The rear suspension is also new, but overall there are no major changes to the dimensions or the kerb weight of the bike.

Additional new features include a new viscous air filter and five step adjustable inverted gas reservoir suspension. The front disc brake is of 240mm diameter and the optional rear disc is of 220mm diameter, while the standard version gets a 130mm rear brake drum. Wheels are both 18-inchers, rear and front, and come shod with tubeless tyres.

The new Hero Hunk is available in six new shades - Bold Brown, Panther Black, Matte Black, Ebony Grey, Force Silver and Blazing Red. The Hero Hunk will take on competitors like the Honda CB Unicorn 160, Bajaj Pulsar 150 and the Yamaha FZ series.
