The new Hyundai Santro completes its first anniversary on October 23, 2019, and to celebrate the occasion, the South Korean automaker will soon roll out the Anniversary edition of the hatchback. The Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition gets cosmetic and feature updates and will be based on Sportz trim on the model. Leaked details about the new Santro special edition reveal a starting price of Rs. 5.17 lakh, going up to Rs. 5.75 lakh for the AMT version (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi), which makes it about Rs. 10,000 more expensive than the mid-spec version. The special variant is also being launched just in time for the festive season that should help push volumes further for the automaker.
Hyundai Santro Gets A Price Hike Of Rs. 25,000 On The Base Trim
Hyundai Motor India has silently hiked prices on the Santro line-up that now starts at Rs. 4.15 lakh for the base trim. Launched late last year, the automaker has now discontinued the entry-level D-Lite and Era variants and the hatchback now gets the new Era Executive trim instead is priced at Rs. 4.15 lakh. The new variant is about Rs. 25,000 more expensive than the D-Lite trim that was priced at Rs. 3.90 lakh, while the Era variant was priced at Rs. 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Apart from the base trims, prices on the mid and higher-spec versions remain unchanged.

The 2018 Hyundai Santro is turning out to be a volume driver for the Korean carmaker. Hyundai Motor India has announced to have received over 38,500 bookings and 211,000 enquiries for the all new Santro since its launch on October 23, 2018.
