Datsun GO & GO+ Receive 5 Per Cent Price Hike
Japanese automaker Nissan India has announced a price hike on the Datsun GO and GO+ hatchbacks in its line-up by five per cent, with immediate effect. The automaker attributed the increase in prices to multiple costs with safety at the centre of it. While official prices are yet to be revealed, the Datsun GO range currently starts at Rs. 3.32 lakh, going up Rs. 5.17 lakh, and will see an increase in prices between Rs. 16,600-26,000, depending on the variant. Similarly, the Datsun GO+ is currently priced between Rs. 3.86 lakh and Rs. 5.94 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom), and will see an increase of around Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 30,000, based on the variant.
Datsun GO CVT And GO+ CVT Bookings Open For Rs. 11,000
Bookings for the upcoming CVT automatic versions of the 2019 Datsun GO and GO+ have officially commenced in India. Both the Datsun GO CVT and the GO+ CVT can be pre-booked at any authorised Nissan and Datsun dealership across India for a token of Rs. 11,000.

Ahead of its launch later this month, Datsun India has revealed the GO and GO+ facelifted models. The Datsun GO facelift and the GO+ facelift receive cosmetic upgrades to the styling, while the feature list is likely to get a major update as well. For now, Datsun has only revealed the exterior of the updated GO models, with the cabin still under wraps. Pre-bookings, meanwhile, officially commence from today across the company's dealerships for a token amount of Rs. 11,000, while deliveries will begin on the launch day of October 10, 2018.
Datsun GO And GO+ Facelift To Be Launched Next Month
Nissan's entry-level brand Datsun is all set to introduce the GO and GO+ facelifts next month in the country. While we told you weeks ago that the company was eyeing an early October launch, the automaker has earmarked October 9, 2018, as the launch date for the updated models. It's interesting to note that the new generation Hyundai Santro (AH2) will also be officially unveiled on the same day, and will be a direct rival to the the Datsun offerings. The Datsun GO was first introduced in 2013, while the GO Plus arrived in 2015 as a seven-seater version. This will be the major upgrade to the GO range ever since the models have been on sale. The facelifted avatars were revealed in Indonesia earlier this year, and the Indian version will be identical.

In fact, Datsun is also looking to add a touchscreen infotainment system for the top-end variant. Apart from these, the GO and GO+ facelifts will also get power windows, power steering, mobile docking system and a USB port.
