Chinese automaker BYD opened up the sales of its e6 electric MPV to private owners. This strategic shift from a commercial and fleet-only model to inclusion of private consumers comes after the brand's inauguration of dedicated dealerships in Kochi and Vijaywada. Priced at Rs. 29.15 lakh (ex-showroom), the e6 sits in a single variant—GL—and offers a promising package of eco-friendly mobility and modern conveniences.

Optionally, a 40 kW wall-mounted AC fast charger can reduce the charging duration to a mere two hours.
