Govt Emissions Policy Needs To Be More Consistent: SIAM
Government policy with regard to changes for new vehicles needs to be more consistent, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers Association (SIAM) has said. SIAM Executive Director (Technical) KK Gandhi told CarandBike.com that though automobile manufacturers are ready and prepared to take up any challenges new policy decisions bring about, the government should give sufficient time for manufacturers to prepare and make changes to new vehicles. The SIAM statement comes at a time when the Environment Pollution Control Authority (EPCA) has told the Supreme Court that only Bharat Stage VI (BS VI) compliant vehicles should be allowed to be sold from 1 April 2020.
TVS Apache RTR 310 Launch Details Revealed
TVS Motor Company will be launching the much-awaited TVS Apache RTR 310 in July this year. US President Donald Trump has said in his address to Congress that Harley-Davidson has expressed concern that its motorcycles faced tariffs as high as 100 per cent in overseas markets. 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 First Ride Review
Aesthetically, there is nothing to differentiate the new Pulsar 150. The only cosmetic changes are new colours, new decals, new faux carbon fibre finish on some plastic bits and a matte finish for the engine. Bajaj Auto has upgraded its 200 cc Pulsars with updated engines meeting Bharat Stage IV emission regulations. The new, full-faired Bajaj Pulsar RS200 now comes with the auto headlamp on function as well and continues with advanced technology fuel injection, anti-lock brakes (ABS) and twin projector headlamps. The Pulsar RS200 will be available in two new colours with updated graphics - Racing Blue and Graphite Black.
