Audi Q8 SUV To Be Launched In India In January 2020
Early this year in August we had told you that Audi India plans to launch the Q8 by the end 2019, but the launch has now been deferred to January 2020. The long-anticipated Audi Q8 finally has a launch date, and the new coupe-SUV will go on sale in India on January 15.
Audi India To Launch Q8 SUV In 2019
It might have been a very slow start to 2019 for Audi India, but the second half of the year brings in a burst of action. Audi has announced that it will launch 4 cars in India by the end of 2019 and as we told you earlier, it will all start with the launch of the new generation of the A6. But the Q8 Coupe- SUV will soon join the line-up. The Q8 will be the company's first coupe-SUV from the Ingolstadt-based carmaker and will be the range-topping model in Audi's Q line-up, which was up until now led by the Audi Q7. The Q8 will be launched in India during the festive season, so expect it to be here by October or November this year.
Audi Q8 Plug-In Hybrid Spotted Testing
Audi has already shared plans about electrifying a host of its models including the A6 and A8 sedans. The company had also mentioned about introducing plug-in hybrids to the Q range and it looks like the recently unveiled Q8 coupe SUV will be the first electrified Q model. A test mule of the Q8 has been spotted testing and few elements are clear giveaways of it being the hybrid iteration.
