Harley-Davidson India has expanded its dealership footprint in India with its 26th dealership in the country - Foothills Harley-Davidson, located in Dehradun. The new dealership is first independent dealership of the company in Uttarakhand and will introduce the exclusive Harley Owners Group Group (H.O.G.) to the city, making Foothills Harley-Davidson the 27th H.O.G. Chapter. The new dealership will offer all 13 models in the Harley-Davidson India 2017 line up, in addition to a wide range of parts and accessories to customise motorcycles, and authentic Harley-Davidson merchandise.
KTM Invests In Head-Up Display Company

US-based technology start-up NUVIZ Inc has secured a strategic investment from Pierer Industrie AG, the parent company of KTM, Husqvarna, WP Suspension and Pankl Racing Systems. NUVIZ will use the investment to finalise product development, as well as boost sales and marketing efforts ahead of the launch of the company's head-up display technology and connected riding solutions in the first half of 2017. According to reports, NUVIZ has raised around $9 million with KTM contributing a majority of that amount.
Patent Images Reveal Supercharged Honda Motorcycle

Honda may be quietly working on a supercharged engine, as latest patent images seem to indicate. From the images, the supercharger is located on the left side of the engine, and this supercharged engine will likely power several new motorcycles in the pipeline. There's been no news on what development stage the engine is in, but the engine idea in the patent drawings is reportedly for future models, ranging from smaller middleweights to even a superbike. There's been no official word from Honda on this yet.
Harley-Davidson Plans 50 New Models In Five Years

Harley-Davidson plans to introduce as many as 50 new models and increase drivers by adding new dealerships globally to increase sales and earnings for the Bar & Shield brand. This was disclosed by Harley-Davidson President and CEO Matt Levatich during a call with analysts after the release of the fourth quarter and annual 2016 earnings of the company. Internationally, Harley-Davidson added 40 new dealerships across the world in 2016 and intends to increase that number to 200 new dealerships by 2020.

Bajaj Auto has upgraded its 200 cc Pulsars with updated engines meeting Bharat Stage IV emission regulations. The new, full-faired Bajaj Pulsar RS200 now comes with the auto headlamp on function as well and continues with advanced technology fuel injection, anti-lock brakes (ABS) and twin projector headlamps. The Pulsar RS200 will be available in two new colours with updated graphics - Racing Blue and Graphite Black. Prices start at Rs 1,21,881 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the non-ABS variant and the ABS variant is priced at Rs 1,33,833 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) will launch the Honda Africa Twin by mid-2017, senior HMSI officials have confirmed to carandbike.com. The adventure motorcycle from Honda was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in February 2016 and has generated a lot of interest among the motorcycle touring crowd in India. The Honda Africa Twin or Honda CRF1000L, as it's also called, will be brought to India as knocked down kits and assembled in India. Only one variant will be available for the Indian market.
Honda Rolls Out 50th Lakh CB Shine; Launches 2017 BS IV Model As Well

Come April 2017 and all two-wheelers that will be sold in India have to be BS IV compliant and get the auto headlamp on (AHO) as a standard feature. Keeping that in mind, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the 2017 model of the CB Shine which conforms to BS IV emission norms and also gets the auto headlamp feature as well.
