- Impressive handling
- Ride feels compliant
Cons
- Rear legroom could have been improved
- Cabin of the base trim looks dated
- Sense of space could be improved
Skoda has made a strong statement with the new Rapid. It's done away with the diesel engine and that's a bold step. But the renewed focus on introducing more petrol models to the line-up and giving the 4 years Skoda maintenance, assist and warranty package, just gives you a perspective of how the company wants to make the new Rapid a value for money proposition. Yes, it has bargained on features and there's no automatic available yet, but that equation will change in the next couple of months. The Rapid with the 1-litre TSI offers more bang for your buck and is probably the most fun to drive compact sedan out there.
The Skoda Rapid is a popular car model that has been around for years. It's known for being a reliable and affordable option, which is why many people choose it as their first car.
The design of the Skoda Rapid is very sleek and modern. It has a sporty look that is sure to turn heads when driving. The interior is also very well designed and comfortable for passengers. All in all, the Skoda Rapid is a great choice for those looking for a stylish and practical car.
The Skoda Rapid is a good car. It's not the best in its class, but it's a good all-rounder that should suit most people's needs. It's comfortable, efficient and reasonably priced.
The biggest issue with the Rapid is its performance. The engine is simply not powerful enough and as a result, the car feels sluggish. This is a real shame because otherwise, the Rapid is a great car.
If you're looking for a comfortable, efficient and reasonably priced car, the Skoda Rapid is definitely worth considering.
Those in the market for a dependable and reasonably priced automobile will find that the Skoda Rapid is an excellent choice. The Skoda Rapid's gas mileage is something that a lot of potential buyers are interested in learning more about.
A rather impressive number for a sedan, the Skoda Rapid achieves an average of 30 miles to the gallon in its fuel economy. However, if you are interested in obtaining the most potential gas mileage out of your vehicle, you should probably think about purchasing the diesel version of the Skoda Rapid. Because it achieves an average of 44 miles per gallon, the diesel version of the Skoda Rapid is unquestionably the more fuel-efficient choice.
If you're looking for a sedan with great gas mileage, the Skoda Rapid is a great option. You can either get the gasoline version or the diesel version, depending on your preferences.
The Skoda Rapid offers a decently enjoyable driving experience for its passengers. The automobile has a good turning radius and provides a smooth and pleasant ride on the roads. In addition to this, the performance and power of the engine are both fairly acceptable. Having said that, the automobile does have a few limitations. To begin, there is room for improvement in the vehicle's economy. Second, there is a lot of noise within the cabin, which can be rather grating on extended trips because of how long they are. In general, though, the Skoda Rapid is a decent car to drive, and the experience of doing so ought to be pleasurable for the vast majority of individuals.
Off-road capability is an important consideration for many car buyers, and the Skoda Rapid is a great option in this regard. The Rapid has a variety of features that make it well-suited for off-roading, including all-wheel drive, hill descent control, and a robust suspension system. Additionally, the Rapid is relatively light for its size, which gives it an advantage when navigating rough terrain.
The interior of the Skoda Rapid is clean and modern, with plenty of space for passengers and luggage. The seats are comfortable and supportive, and the cabin is well-insulated from road and engine noise. The infotainment system is easy to use, and there are plenty of storage pockets and cupholders throughout the cabin.
The all-new ŠKODA RAPID comes with state-of-the-art technology and infotainment features. The car is equipped with a central touchscreen display, voice control, satellite navigation and a whole host of other cutting-edge features.
When it comes to safety, the Skoda Rapid is equipped with a number of features to help keep you and your passengers safe. These include six airbags, ABS braking, ESP stability control, and traction control. In addition, the Rapid has a number of active and passive safety features to help protect you in the event of an accident.
When deciding on a Skoda Rapid, there are a few factors that should be taken into consideration. The first decision to make is whether you want a gasoline or diesel engine. If you are interested in performance, the 1.8 TSI gasoline engine is the best option for you. However, if you are interested in greater mileage per gallon, the 1.6 TDI diesel is the better option for you to go with.
The second item that you need to think about is whether you want a manual or an automatic transmission. While the 1.8 TSI gasoline engine comes standard with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, the 1.6 TDI diesel engine comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission. An additional payment of 1,500 GBP is required if an automatic transmission is desired in conjunction with the diesel engine.
In the end, you are going to have to choose the trim level that you want. Alloy wheels measuring 16 inches, cruise control, and power windows in the front and back are standard on the S trim's base level. When you upgrade to the SE trim level, you receive reversing sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, and DAB radio. If you want to get the most out of your Skoda Rapid, we suggest going for the SE L trim level, which comes with full LED headlights, alloy wheels that are 18 inches in diameter, and satellite navigation.
The Skoda Rapid is a tiny car that competes in the highly competitive small car market sector. The Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Mazda 3, and Volkswagen Golf are the automobiles that pose the greatest threat to the sales of the Rapid. The Rapid stands out from the competition in its class because to its affordable pricing and extensive list of standard equipment, making it one of the best options available in this class of vehicles.
If you're looking for a spacious and practical family car that's also good value for money, the Skoda Rapid could be the perfect choice. It's comfortable and well-equipped, with a spacious interior and a large boot. It's not the most exciting car to drive, but it's straightforward and easy to live with.
The Rapid is available in both petrol and diesel versions, and there's also a Sport model if you're looking for something a bit livelier. All models come with plenty of standard equipment, including air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity and alloy wheels.
If you are looking for the least expensive way to get into a Rapid, the model with the base-level gasoline engine is your best bet; but, if you have the means to go up to the next level, the model with the 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine is an option that should not be overlooked. It consumes very little power while still providing adequate performance, making it an excellent all-purpose option.
When it comes to getting the most miles per gallon out of your vehicle, the 1.6-liter TDI diesel engine is tough to beat. It's impressively efficient and will cost you very little to run. You should, however, keep in mind that it is not as powerful as some of the other engines that are available, particularly if you frequently transport passengers or travel on highways.

The cabin also gets minor updates with a dual-tone brown and black finish, while the Onyx and Monte Carlo variants get a black and grey cabin. The feature list comprises a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartLink tech on the mid variants while the top trims get a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. Other features include auto climate control, 12-volt power socket at the front and rear, cruise control, and steering mounted phone and audio controls, automatic headlamps, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control and lots more.
