TVS Star City Plus Launched in Maharashtra at Rs. 44,000

TVS launched the Star City + in Maharashtra today in two variants. The company has priced the top-end model, which comes with the option of an electric starter, at Rs 44,000, while the base model costs Rs. 42,800 (all prices ex-showroom, Pune)

The Star City + is powered by a 109cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine. The power output stands at 8.18bhp with peak torque standing at 8.7Nm. The engine comes mated to a four-speed gearbox.

The Star City + features an analogue-cum-digital instrument cluster with power and economy mode indicators and a service interval indicator, shock absorbers finished in white and alloy wheels. The company plans to grab atleast 2 to 3% market share this year and the Star City + is certainly a good start.
