    Triumph India forayed into the Indian Market at the 2012 Auto Expo, however, the launch of their bikes was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Triumph maintained that all was well and they have a plan in place for India and it was in November 2013 that the Daytona 675R was launched.

    But the groans and moans of people who expected the Daytona 675 to enter first were finally heard by Triumph. The company today launched the Daytona 675. It gets a 3 cylinder 675cc layout,which punches out a hefty 126bhp and 74 Nm of torque.

    Paul Stroud, Director Sales & Marketing (Global), Triumph Motorcycles Pvt. Ltd. said, "India is an exceptionally exciting market for us and the premium motorcycle segment in the country is seeing tremendous growth. With the launch of 11 motorcycles across 5 distinct model families including classic, cruiser, super sports, roadsters and adventure segments, Triumph is already enjoying a great response from the Indian market."

    The Daytona 675 is available in 3 colors and offers ABS as standard. With the addition of the Daytona 675, Triumph Motorcycles now have 11 motorcycles on sale in the Indian market.
