The year 2021 may have not been as action-packed when it came to being out and about, and doing what we love the most - riding motorcycles. Nevertheless, there have been some pretty interesting and entertaining motorcycles that we've had the chance to review during the year. Despite restrictions and safety concerns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which meant we had to have our guard up, be distanced from people, 2021 did have its stellar moments when it came to riding motorcycles. These aren't necessarily the 'best' bikes in their respective segments, but bikes which we really enjoyed riding and reviewing, when we did get the chance to do so.

2021 Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 Review

The Yamaha YZF-R15 in its fourth-generation got updated in 2021. With new equipment and fresh styling the R15 still offers a superb package, that is difficult to ignore!

2021 Honda CB200X Review

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India entered the entry-level ADV segment in 2021, with what's not the company calls an adventure bike, but more of a crossover, that's more a commuter motorcycle, dressed in ADV clothing. But it definitely has strong qualities as a well-rounded product and will certainly carve its own niche!

If the Himalayan got some minor updates, Hero MotoCorp made some improvements to its entry-level adventure bike, the Hero XPulse 200, introducing a four-valve head, altered gearing and other updates. And yes, the new XPulse 200 4 Valve is a definite improvement over the two-valve model!

But as we found out, it's evolved in the right direction, with a near-perfect blend of performance, dynamics and accessibility.
